High-TS Concentration
High-TS Concentration is widely used in TEC Square plants. The process is especially interesting when product quality matters. Or when the costs of the product is high and efficient operation is required. Our process has the following advantages:
- Less Product Losses. A High-TS finisher allows the main evaporator to run on much lower concentrations. Rising- and Falling-Film Evaporators tend to foul severely at higher concentrations, due to burn-on. A Rototherm-E has very low product losses as the technology is based on continuous renewal of product against the heating surface. Total product losses should be reduced to 0.1-0.5%.
- More aroma Addition. If the process involves aroma recovery, more aroma can be added as very high TS is possible.
- Higher line Capacity. A High-TS finisher has the possibility to increase the total line output as less evaporation will be required in subsequent operations.
High-TS Concentration – Only advantages
TEC Square uses Rototherm-E technology for its finisher applications. It provides better quality products, higher nominal capacities and less product losses.
